Storm Response
DFW's spring hail season leaves millions in roof damage every year. ADC handles the inspection, the adjuster meeting, and the full replacement — start to finish.
The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex sits inside one of the most active hail corridors in North America. From March through June, storms drop hail from pea-sized to softball, and even a 20-minute event can bruise thousands of shingle mats across a neighborhood. Most homeowners can't see the damage from the ground — but every insurance adjuster is trained to.
ADC's storm response team is built around one goal: get you the roof your policy already paid for. That means a real photo-documented inspection, a proper adjuster meeting on the roof (not in the driveway), and a full supplement process if the initial scope missed anything.
We work directly with every major DFW carrier — State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, Travelers, and dozens of regional carriers — and we've handled claims from single-family homes in Frisco to full HOA-managed townhouse rows in Colleyville.
Bruise count per test square, granule loss quantified, mat exposure photographed close-range. Formatted the way DFW adjusters require.
Wind-lifted shingles, torn field, cracked flashing, and February-freeze pipe boot failure — all common DFW storm events and all typically covered.
We walk you through filing the claim with your carrier, help you set the loss date correctly, and prepare the documentation package.
We meet the field adjuster on your roof (not standing in the driveway). Every damage point walked and photographed together.
When the initial scope misses code items, damaged decking, or matching-shingle requirements, we file a supplement with photos and the carrier's own manuals cited.
Class 4 impact-rated shingles unlock a wind/hail premium discount with most DFW carriers. We walk you through the upgrade math before you sign.
After a storm event we climb the roof and document every damage point with photos. You get the report in writing — even if we find nothing.
If damage is present, we help you file with your carrier and set the loss date. Most DFW carriers require filing within 12 months (some sooner).
We schedule and attend the field adjuster's inspection with you. Every damage point walked together, every finding photographed for the file.
When the adjuster's scope comes back, we review it line-by-line. Anything missing gets supplemented with photo evidence and carrier code references.
Once the scope is approved, our own W-2 crew installs the replacement to manufacturer spec — typically 1–2 days. Class 4 upgrade options presented up front.
We deliver the final invoice and completion package your carrier needs to release the recoverable depreciation check.
Every DFW ZIP code has a documented storm history that carriers reference during the claim. We pull the NOAA and CoreLogic hail swaths for your address on request, so you know before filing whether your event is on the record. Losses tied to documented events get approved faster and with less pushback.
You often can't from the ground. Hail bruises look like small dark circles where granules are missing and the mat is soft. A trained inspector counts them per 10x10-foot test square, which is the same method every adjuster uses.
For most Texas homeowners policies, wind/hail deductibles are 1–2% of your dwelling coverage — usually $2,000–$8,000. Your deductible is on your declarations page. We can help you find it.
In Texas, weather-related claims (hail, wind, storm) generally do not raise individual premium rates the way at-fault claims do. Rates rise for entire ZIP codes after major events regardless.
Denials are often based on documentation. We can re-inspect, provide a formal report, and help you request re-inspection or appraisal. Denials get overturned regularly when the evidence is properly presented.
Most DFW carriers require filing within 12 months of the loss date, some as little as 6 months. Do not wait — the earlier we document, the stronger the claim.
